Kids Art Activities - Byron Bay Markets

When next at the Byron Bay Community Market with the family, go and create something special at our Kids Art Activities Stall.
Children can do a range of activities: Paint a calico bag, flag or art canvas, or most fun of all, make your own badge.  Draw your design with textas and use the hand press to assemble your badge.
Parents can have a bite to eat or a drink, relax in the shade and watch their children making a big mess at my place!
We are guarenteed to be covered in paint at the end of the day! But we can't complain,  it's a great job, we love meeting the young people from all over the world and creating art together.

The Stones Of Byron Bay, exhibition & installation by Warwick Stocks

Warwick Stocks has spent a lot of time walking the beaches collecting Red Jasper off the coast line after high tides and storms.
Joining the local lapidary club, Warwick set about carving, tumbling and polishing the stones. The end result is an installation of concentric circles of gemstones.

Warwick also filled the walls of the Gallery with his incredibly colourful acrylic paintings, a collection of his favourites, spanning 10 years.

Art at Federal Village Gallery

The Federal Village Gallery's Opening art exhibition was held 14th January, 2006. A wide range of local artists showed their current works in celebration of this new hinterland gallery.
